Who We Help
Who We Help
Through word of mouth, loyal donors and dedicated volunteers, Holiday Helpers has grown at a steady pace since its inception in 1998. Actually, it was supposed to remain a 'family initiative' but so many people loved the idea that the efforts took on a life of its own. In the past year, the charity has grown substantially mainly because our legal charity registration number was finalized in 2010 and we were finally able to talk in the media about Holiday Helpers. The minor media coverage that we received and the continued word of mouth message from everyone involved pushed us to grow by 56% in 2010 and gave 201 more kids a bright holiday.

Growing up, Christmas in our household was always full of family tradition; plenty of food and plenty of giving. It's really heart-warming to know that Holiday Helpers is working hard to bring Christmas tradition to families that they might otherwise go without. Providing a tree and some presents to a low income family offers them encouragement to improve their situation and it always brings a smile to their face. Holiday Helpers does fabulous work!
